About
Hello everyone! My name is Jaclyn Holmes and I am a teacher for the Newburgh Enlarged Central School District. I am thrilled to work in the school in the area where I grew up and I am so grateful to have, what I believe as, the best job in the world. I have worked with all age levels and I love coming to work each day. I am excited to work with you and get to know each and every one of you better. Scroll down to learn a little bit more about me.

Education
I attended Wallkill Central School District. I attended two years at Ulster Community College for education and continues to Mount Saint Mary College for two years for special education . After graduating I received certification in special education and childhood education. I furthered my education at New York Institute of Technology and earned a Masters degree and certificate as a Educational Technology Specialist in 2011.
What do I enjoy?
Some of my favorite things to do is travel and teach. When I am not teaching I am home with my baby girls . We do fun crafts, outdoor activities, eating fun foods, hair, nails, and so much more. I enjoy my family and try to spend as much time as I can being a mom and a teacher. I also enjoy furthering my own education and take classes whenever possible.

Why be a Teacher?

Philosophy
My beliefs on teaching are short and simple- Everyone can and everyone should have the equal right to all education. I believe that if someone is willing to do something or learn or grow then everyone can accomplish, everyone can succeed, everyone can grow.
